We have a top line up of celebrity chefs including James Martin and the Hairy Bikers, cooking live in the Summer Kitchen Sponsored by Sainsbury`s. They`ll all be cooking up fresh, seasonal, summer dishes and entertaining audiences - it`s a great part of your day out.
The Summer Kitchen will also play host to exciting MasterChef CookOffs where previous MasterChef winners and contestants compete head to head, live on stage! MasterChef Judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace will be on hand to decide who`ll be crowned the MasterChef of each session!
The Invention Test (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Put your culinary skills to the ultimate test! You`ll have just 30 minutes to take the MasterChef challenge and create a dish fit for the MasterChef judges, in front of a live audience! Previous winners from the BBC1 series, including the winner of the new series - Dhruv Baker, will mentor you through the challenge, with the top three contestants’ dishes going forward to the ultimate test - the tastebuds of John Torode and Gregg Wallace themselves.
The Producers’ Village
The Producers’ Village will be packed with small speciality producers who specialise in local and seasonal produce. The area includes pavilions dedicated to Slow Food UK where you will find producers of good, clean and fair food and drink, Henrietta Green’s popular FoodLoversBritain.com Fair and selected quality producers from the Ludlow Food Festival. For this reason, we`re pleased to introduce you to the Grow Your Own Area sponsored by ns&i where you can pick up top tips and advice from the experts from the BBC TV programme Gardeners` World and the Royal Horticultural Society.
The Grow Your Own Area takes place in the outside gardens at The NEC, as part of BBC Gardeners` World Live. The BBC Summer Good Food Show takes place at the same time as BBC Gardeners` World Live, and your Show ticket gives you entry to the gardening Show on the day of your visit, giving you the opportunity to wander freely between the two Shows.
